This Privacy Policy explains how RED HISTORY ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use Widgetify (the "App"), including its widgets and related features.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We do not require you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise GPS location, advertising identifier, or payment information through the App.

The App may process the following information:

- Approximate location and network information: When a weather feature updates, the App uses your internet connection and sends a request to GeoJS. GeoJS may receive your IP address and returns an approximate location, such as latitude and longitude at a city or regional level. The App does not request or use the device's precise GPS location for this feature.

- Weather request data: The approximate latitude and longitude are sent to Open-Meteo to retrieve current weather information.

- Content requests: The App connects to our content service to download themes, wallpapers, icons, widgets, and related metadata. As with ordinary internet communications, the service provider may receive technical information such as your IP address, request time, and basic request details in server logs.

- Photos access: If you choose to save a wallpaper, the App requests permission to add the selected image to your Photos library. The App does not require permission to read your entire photo library for this purpose.

- Locally stored preferences and content: Favorites, selected themes, saved widget configurations, weather cache data, and similar settings are stored locally on your device or in the App Group container shared with the App's widget extension.

- Cached files: Downloaded images, theme assets, and icon packages may be cached on your device to improve performance and reduce repeated downloads.

2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use the information described above only to:

- provide themes, wallpapers, icons, and widgets;

- show approximate local weather in supported widgets;

- save wallpapers to Photos when you request it;

- remember your favorites and widget choices;

- generate and export icon configuration profiles you request;

- improve loading performance through on-device caching; and

- maintain the security, reliability, and operation of the App and its content service.

3. DATA STORAGE AND RETENTION

Favorites, widget configurations, cached weather information, generated configuration profiles, and downloaded assets are stored on your device. Image caches are generally configured to expire after seven days, although iOS or the App may remove cached data earlier. Other local data remains until you delete it in the App, remove the App, or clear the relevant device data.

Server operators may retain limited technical logs for security, troubleshooting, and service reliability according to their operational requirements.

4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The App uses the following third-party services:

- GeoJS, for IP-based approximate location: https://www.geojs.io/

- Open-Meteo, for weather information: https://open-meteo.com/

- Kingfisher, an open-source image downloading and caching library. Kingfisher processes image requests within the App and does not provide us with a separate advertising or analytics service.

- Apple services, including iOS, Photos, widgets, App Groups, and system sharing or installation interfaces.

These third parties process information under their own privacy policies and terms. We encourage you to review them.

5. DATA SHARING AND SALE

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not use personal information for cross-app tracking or targeted advertising. We do not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs in the App.

Information is disclosed only as needed to operate the services described in this policy, when you intentionally use a system sharing or export feature, when required by law, or when necessary to protect users, our rights, or the security of the App.

6. CONFIGURATION PROFILES AND EXTERNAL APPS

If you choose to create themed app icons, the App may generate a configuration profile containing the icons and launch information you selected. The profile is created for the feature you requested and may be handed to iOS for installation or exported using system interfaces. When a shortcut, link, profile, or file opens another app or service, that destination's privacy practices apply.

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App is not designed to collect personal information from children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or under the applicable minimum age in their jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

8. SECURITY

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by the App. Internet transmission and electronic storage cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

9. YOUR CHOICES

You can:

- decline or revoke Photos permission in iOS Settings;

- stop using weather widgets to avoid future approximate-location weather requests;

- remove favorites or saved content using available App controls; and

- delete the App to remove its locally stored App data, subject to iOS behavior and any files you previously exported or saved to Photos.

You may contact us with a privacy request or question using the email address below. Because the App does not use accounts, we may not be able to identify or retrieve device-local data held only on your device.

10. INTERNATIONAL DATA PROCESSING

The services used by the App may process requests on servers located outside your country or region. Data protection laws in those locations may differ from those where you live.

11. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, applicable law, or our practices. We will revise the effective date when changes are made. Material changes may also be communicated through the App or its store listing when appropriate.
